Nagpur, known as the “Orange City” for its abundant citrus fruit cultivation, is not just a bustling urban center in Maharashtra, but also a gateway to the wilderness of Tadoba National Park. Tadoba, often referred to as Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, is one of the finest tiger reserves in India and is located in the Chandrapur district, around 150 kilometers from Nagpur.

Spread over an area of approximately 1,700 square kilometers, Tadoba is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The park is named after the Tadoba Lake, which serves as a vital water source for the region’s wildlife. Tadoba’s landscape is characterized by dense forests, rugged cliffs, grasslands, and seasonal marshes, creating diverse habitats for a wide variety of flora and fauna.

  Nagpur – Tadoba National Park

  Upon arrival at Nagpur airport/railway station, transfer to your hotel. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Please note that core gates remain closed on Tuesdays and buffer gates remain closed on Wednesdays. Additionally, the park remains closed for the full day on Diwali, Holi, and 01st May.

• Day 2 /

  Tadoba National Park

  Today, embark on a morning jungle safari in Tadoba. Afterward, return to the resort for breakfast. Tadoba boasts over 60 tigers, and its geography facilitates frequent tiger sightings along the safari tracks, making it one of the best places for such sightings after Bandhavgarh. The park is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including Indian bison, sloth bears, wild dogs, and diverse bird species. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Please note that safari vehicles in Tadoba are not driven by naturalists. However, you can book a naturalist for INR 1700 and one seat is required for the naturalist on the jeep.
